i24.com is a project of Stephan Großklaß and Daniel Hauke for...
Daniel Hauke is the owner of both the domain i24.com and the server. Since he's a real Unix and cryptography freak, he'll contribute some pages dealing with these topics. In addition, he'd like to do some advertising for his company here.
The pages are being written partially in Netscape Composer (Communicator's built-in editor) 4.08 for Windows 3.1 and partially in the text editor WinVi. (Daniel Hauke prefers the built-in editor of Netscape Navigator 3.04 Gold for Sun Solaris for a rough layout and the standard Unix/Linux editor vi for fine-tuning afterwards.) They should be viewable and useable in any browser, as opposed to some "professional" sites demanding a 4th generation browser and very often CSS (the latter is disturbing for Netscape 3 users, since many things don't quite seem to fit then). In addition, the visitor can change the font size with his/her browser's means (which doesn't work on many "professional" sites because of the fixed absolute font size defined there with CSS [that should be avoided - CSS also allows relative font sizes]), since not everyone has eyes like an eagle, and some folks (such as the webmaster) are visually impaired and need a larger font size to be able to read things.
